Life Is Like Sex
Or You Can Get On Top And
Enjoy The Ride
Don’t ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive for what the world needs most is for you to come alive. What excites you, what gives you energy and gets your motor running?
Everyday bosses, teachers, lovers and friends misdiagnose genius as madness. They do not understand. You will always be too much for some people.
Its not your job to curb or contain yourself to become someone else’s idea of who you should be. Don't hide your spark, bury your ideas or smooth out your edges.
You're only given a little spark of madness, you must not lose it. Robin Williams

Reality is what it is. Logic dictates it's far better to deal with the world the way the world is and not the way you wish it were. Goal in life should be to discover reality not try to wish it away. Rarely do we see the world as it is.
Most of the time we see what we want to see as we love to be deluded since it feels so warm and fuzzy compared to the harness of reality. Our perception of reality may not have any connection to reality itself, which should scare the peanut butter out of you.
Self-delusion leads us to believe we're immune to the consequences of our own destructive tendencies. Actions always have consequences, never be misled just because the payback for your choices are not always immediate. The worst place to live is in denial, denial only makes things worse. You can avoid reality but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality.
Stop the BS. The most foolish thing you can do is lie to yourself, if you lie to yourself, there is no hope. If you want to take control of your future stop blaming others for your situation. Stop playing the victim and feeling sorry for yourself. If you think like a victim you'll act like a victim. Victims are weak, powerless and easy targets because they give away their power.
Be Different. Be Brave. Be a Trendsetter and move on. Forget whose fault it is, the only question should be, what are you going to do about it? Take responsibility you’re your life, your choices and actions. Besides, no one is coming to rescue you.

Are you insane?
One question provides you the answer. Do you do the same thing over and over, day in and day out yet expect different results? Well then sit down as that’s a big indication that you might want to question your sanity. Just saying, if nothing changes, nothing changes and the obvious conclusion, something needs to change, and that means... change is the only thing that will save you.
Here’s another crazy idea to contemplate, if you don’t change when the time is right, you may be forced to change when you’re least prepared for it. This simply means there are both consequences for your in-actions as well as your actions.
Good news bad news, it would appear change is in your future and that’s the bad news, or is it the good news? News flash: there's never going to be a shortage of risks, sacrifices and challenges to overcome. Living is risky business, no one is ever sure of everything. Sure, change is scary for things might get better or they might get worse. Now change may not be what you want but change is going to happen, the only question is will you be the agent that causes change or will you give that power to other people? Why not be the instigator of the change in your life? Why not allow not knowing what's going to happen next to excite you to take action? This attitude changes everything because then you stop merely reacting to what happens around you and become the cause that changes your life.
Again, change is scary, but real change and real progress in life happens when you give up trying to control so much. The day you accept you can’t control everything, that is the day everything changes. Instead of waiting some imaginary day that may never arrive, consider concentrating on the things you can control to produce the positive results you dream about.
Change is most frightening when you don’t see all of your options. This is why it’s so vitally important to remember that you always have options. You may not like these options, they may not be the options that you want, and they may not be perfect options but please remember they remain options nonetheless. Perfect options don’t exist, and so they’re not available for anyone, not just you.
Do you want to get lucky, ask yourself one simple question, what do lucky people do? Lucky people experiment more, they get out there and try new things rather than sitting around waiting for luck to happen. They also constantly ask "What can I do right now to change my situation?" Every other species on the planet is unable to change who they are, humans alone possess this ability. Turtles and trees don't command this power, our species does.
GOOD NEWS: You don’t have to stay stuck, you have the ability to change because you are free to choose what to do next. Free will dictates that you don't have to stay where you are. You have the power to choose what you’ll do next. As Led Zeppelin says in Stairway To Heaven, "there's still time to change the road you're on."

Maybe it's time... to get out of this place
Reflections Of My Life Dean Ford - WARNING: This song is powerful and moving.
Everything that you want in life that is worthwhile, is a process. Few things are ever achieved easily or instantly. Every precious goal that one desires usually demands at least twice as long to attain as you think it will. This semi minor math miscalculation often causes people to quit too soon for too many are closer to achieving their goal then they realize.
However if they simply took the time to enjoy the process a bit more, things might have turned out differently. Chasing after goals is admirable, but shortly after achieving them the excitement fades. We spend almost all of our time in the pursuit of goals while only a tiny percent of our time is actually spent in the exhilaration phase of "Yes...I did it!"
It's so easy to get caught up in the pursuit of one's goals we trick our self into believing that on some magical day when we get that job, that promotion, graduate, move, retire, get married, or get divorced, then on that mythical day, then things will be great and then we’ll be happy and then we’ll really start to enjoying life. Bad strategy. Much of life loses its meaning if your main reason for living is waiting for some day down the road that may never happen.
Or you can choose the Red Pill and be aware of and take pleasure in and ... cherish the moments of your life as they happen. This present moment is truly the only thing you posses, yesterday is a memory while tomorrow is still just a dream. You can choose to be obsessed with regrets about the past, or worries for the future, or you can unplug more often from the blue screen, turn off autopilot and savor the moments of your journey as they unfold.
What if you created a new habit and refused to be normal and do what few people do, and not just make each day a great day but make each day an adventure? The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity. Curiosity is a wonderful tool, it lets you wake up in the morning and say "what if." What if I did things differently today, what if I knew what I really wanted and I knew what I needed to do? What if I refused to allow distractions to sidetrack me from following my dream and my plan to get the most from life? What if I took more chances and experimented more to discover what works?
The key is to stop waiting for better opportunities to magically appear, the opportunities in front of you - right now - are your best opportunities, but they could be gone tomorrow. Start each day with magic; unleash the power located in gratitude. Consider your blessings, remind yourself of all the good things you have, rather than those you lack.

Fear: The Good News.
Fear is normal. Everyone is scared. The absence of fear is not courage, it's brain damage.
But. Fear of rejection and failure is powerful, so powerful some must believe can be fatal. Most fears are not fatal; you live and you will fail and you will be rejected yet again, and again. That is indeed good news. It’s good since it holds true for everyone, not just you. Fact is, if you’re not being rejected, or have never failed spectacularly, you haven't tried very hard and you certainly have not lived very much either.
Some fears are truly beautiful. Fear being average. Fear living a boring life. Fear being in the exact same place next year. Fear not being a positive influence in the lives of others. Especially the fear of hiding from and not feeling much of anything as your only semi conscious, “living” on autopilot, just going thru the motions. Same day different cup of coffee, alarm clock, work, dinner, blue screen, bed.
The world is full of average passive people who live to avoid criticism or rejection. They prefer to let life just happen to them; they refuse to roll the dice, to take a chance and risk. They're afraid to venture very far outside their comfort zone and so they miss many wonderful opportunities and experiences.
Sadly life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage. Few people wake up in the morning and feel like taking big risks, or pushing themselves harder than they've ever pushed before or having conversations that might be uncomfortable.
Fear and anxiety are paralyzing emotions and the best way to overcome this paralysis is through action, action turns concern about failure into positive energy. The feelings of fear are similar to that of adrenaline, that special hormone that gets you pumped up, excited. It gets you ready to something a little scary, something that you need to do, something takes courage. Courage, something everyone needs more of. The land of the free and the home of the brave, where did it go?
The key to conquer fear is to get busy doing something, almost anything really instead of sitting around thinking or talking about doing things. Action breeds confidence, while inaction breeds' doubt and fear. To help overcome fear, just experiment more. The future belongs to those who risk and confront their fears for when you confront your fears they shrink. If you do something that makes you uncomfortable often enough, eventually it becomes as bland as watching the same movie 1,000 times (unless it's Star Trek, The Blues Brothers, or Gone In 60 Seconds)
If you're waiting for the perfect moment before you act, you're waiting for something that does not exist. Living in the real world means living with fear and uncertainly for there is always a piece of the puzzle missing. Success is love and life is directly related to the willingness to act in the face of uncertainty.
An out of the ordinary blueprint for a full, interesting and a successful life happens when your not afraid of what people think, for only then do you have a chance.
Don’t be afraid to live out your fantasies. You only have so many chances to jump on a fantasy bus in search of a better life. Who knows where the bus might take you?
Blessed are the curious for they shall have all the adventures.
Kendra Wright’s Most Excellent Tedx Talk
"Fear Is Always Near When You Make The Most Of Your Life. If you want to live a wildly happy successful life you have to make friends with the dirtiest F word of them all…fear.
Take one minute and imagine yourself in 30 days and you have faced none of your fears and nothing in your life has changed. How do you feel? Do you feel happy, sad, fulfilled or do you feel like you had a chance to change and you let that opportunity pass you buy?
Now take one minute and imagine how you would feel in 30 days if you started to change. You have a choice to make, to choose either courage over comfort."
Everything you've ever wanted...is on the other side of fear.
Bottom line:
The more you do, the more you fail. The more you fail, the more you learn. The more you learn the better you get. John Maxwell. So go take the next step even if you're scared, remember everyone is but few admit it.
What is the cure for boredom? Curiosity.
What is the cure for curiosity? There is none
